What about my ongoing deals? Will I still get paid?

Yes, and your clients will be taken care of. We do this every week. Every open file gets walked through one-by-one before your start date: commission splits, transfer paperwork, escrow handling, and how to talk to clients mid-transaction. What if I have to write a deal over the weekend before my license transfers Monday?

Use Pemberton paper. Download the contract pack below, write the deal, and we'll land it cleanly on the Pemberton side the moment Sami flips your license Monday. Five steps:
  1. Download the Pemberton contract pack from the link below and print what you need for the weekend.
  2. Write the deal on Pemberton paper, execute all signatures (buyer/seller, agent counterpart, addenda).
  3. Text Blake or Sami the moment it's signed, even Saturday night, so we can pre-stage the brokerage-side filing.
  4. Monday at your license switch, the executed contract becomes Pemberton's the second Sami activates your license.
  5. Send the executed contract to the right Pemberton inbox Monday, Transactions@TeamPemberton.com for buy-side, Listings@TeamPemberton.com for listing-side. NorthStar MLS requires the listing status update within 2 business days of contract execution, don't sit on it.

I want to switch, but I can't afford to slow down.

I need to get going quick. I had a slow couple months. How fast can I get my leads turned on?

Same week as onboarding, live by Friday, taking calls that weekend. Pemberton Real Estate is a Zillow Preferred brokerage, we have the #1 lead account in the state. Here's the flow:
  1. Create a Zillow Premier Agent profile.
  2. We invite you to join our Pemberton Zillow team, accept the invite.
  3. You'll be invited to complete the Zillow Flex Agreement.
  4. Once it's signed, our Managing Broker accepts you onto our Preferred Team.
  5. Complete your Zillow Trainings, Sami emails them to you with the subject line "Important."
  6. Reach out to Sami K. once your training modules are done for next steps.
  7. Pass a Readiness and Mock call with Jared Stoneman (Leads & Systems Manager), required for every agent.
  8. Green light + Zillow AI mock call passed → your leads turn on immediately.

What about switching my email?

Your call. Keep using your personal business email if that's already your brand, or we'll spin up a @teampemberton.com address for you. Whichever you choose, we'll get it set up before your start date.

What about my database?

Your sphere and data is your business, we'll help you move it with care, no contacts lost.
  1. Export your contacts from your current CRM as a CSV (every platform supports this).
  2. Bring the file with you on day two, Jared will help you import it into your new CRM (Follow Up Boss).
  3. We'll reconcile duplicates and tag your sphere by source so your follow-ups don't miss a beat.

"I don't want my team leader to know I'm leaving."

Screenshot your contact list inside your current CRM. Copy the prompt below, open a fresh Claude.ai chat, paste the prompt, and drop your screenshots in. Claude will flag anything unclear, ask follow-ups if needed, and hand you back a Follow Up Boss–ready CSV. Bring it with you on day two and we'll import it straight in.

For each contact, capture whatever you can find in the screenshots:
• First Name
• Last Name
• Email
• Phone (note whether it's Mobile, Home, or Work)
• Street, City, State, Zip
• Stage (Past Client, Sphere, Active Buyer, Active Seller, Lead, Nurture, etc.)
• Source (Zillow, Referral, Open House, Sphere, etc.)
• Tags (neighborhood, lender, anniversaries, birthdays, anything useful for follow-up)
• Birthday
• Notes (relationship context, last touch, deal history, preferences)

Ground rules:
1. If a field isn't visible in the screenshot, leave it blank. Never fabricate data.
2. If the same contact appears in more than one screenshot, merge them into a single row.
3. After I've sent everything, tell me the total count of contacts captured and flag any screenshots where data was unclear so I can re-take them.
4. Ask me clarifying questions if a field could be interpreted multiple ways (e.g. is "Sue & Mark Jones" one row with a spouse, or two separate contacts?).
5. When I confirm we're ready, output the final CSV inside a code block, using this exact header row so it imports cleanly into Follow Up Boss:
